QA Lead
Your Role
The QA Lead will establish Quality Assurance initiatives at DOM, and gradually build a team of highly-skilled Analysts as needed.
In this role you (and eventually your team) will develop test strategies, define test plans, execute and automate tests and track test results across multiple client websites.
Team Fit
The QA Lead leads a team of up to 5 reports in the first year, including Senior, Intermediate and Junior QA Analysts.
You will interact and collaborate with the Development and Systems Administration Teams, and Product owners.
The QA Lead reports directly to the Director of IT.
Responsibilities
- Task assignment, task estimation and resource allocation
- Conduct performance reviews and development of team members
- Develop testing strategies, create test plans and cases
- Identify, analyze and document errors, questionable functions, and inconsistencies in website functionality, data and content
- Collect metrics and report on various projects
- Perform functionality, regression and integration testing
- Document and track results in issue tracking system
- Select, Install and maintain test software programs as needed
- Develop and maintain an automated testing methodology and a test cases library
Professional Requirements
- Minimum 1 year QA Lead experience, including establishing a team
- Minimum 5 years QA experience
- Minimum 2 years experience with QA on web applications
- Experience with test automation and performance load testing
- Experience with PHP, MySQL and OOD is an asset
- Experience in online gaming is an asset
Formal Requirements
- Relevant degree or diploma in Computer Sciences/IT is an asset
