Poker Writer (French)
Your Role
DOM is looking for a skilled French writer to provide content for the French version of a large online poker guide. You will translate (from English) news and general interest articles focusing on the world of poker as well as poker strategy articles. Depending on experience and interest you will also provide and implement overall content ideas for the website.

- Poker news texts
- Poker strategy articles
- Poker player profiles
- Provide creative input on overall content direction for website
Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum one (1) year plus working experience as a writer. University degree or diploma, preferably in journalism. You are creative, have strong writing & research skills, a passion for the written word and a solid work ethic. Preference will be given to those with strong poker industry knowledge, written online copy and a candidate who has done translation work. Native French speaker and fluent in English is a plus.
Rewards
DOM provides an excellent benefits package which takes effect immediately upon starting employment. The package includes life, health and dental insurance as well as a $120 monthly travel allowance and $800 annually for fitness-related fees.
Additionally, each employee is given three weeks paid vacation to start, increasing to four weeks after two years of full-time employment. There are flex-time opportunities as well.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and will be enhanced by performance-based incentives.
