Market Research Analyst
Your Role
The Market Research Analyst will carry out research projects involving in-depth analysis of the online poker industry including, products, services, markets, and competition. You will also proactively identify key industry issues and deliver efficient responses. Part of this role involves collaborating with Business Unit Directors as well as other departmental Directors (e.g. IT & Marketing etc) to maximize the value of all data sources available to our clients.
Team Fit
The Market Research Analyst is a member of the Account Management Department, consisting of 2 Team Leaders, 1 Account Manager and 3 Client Analysts.
In this role, you will report directly to the Account Management Team Leader.
Responsibilities
- Work with all relevant departments in the delivery of research activity
- Establish effective working relationships with 3rd party resources
- Collection of data through qualitative research
- Initiate, design, and lead key research projects and translate data into actionable business recommendations
- Conduct research on markets in local or international areas to assess market potential
- Provide intelligence on competitors' performance and innovation
- Forecast upcoming trends, markets and innovations
- Interpretation of data and presentation of results to management
Professional Requirements
- Minimum 3 years market research experience
- Strong analytical skills, particularly as it relates to research, reporting and analysis
- Extensive experience in collecting secondary research
- Project management skills
- Strong communication (verbal and non-verbal) and organization skills
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines
- Keen knowledge of online poker
Formal Requirements
- University degree (preferably in marketing)
