International Business Development Manager

Your Role

The International Business development Manager (IBDM) will support business unit Directors to understand, grow and maximize client revenues in select international markets. He/she will work closely with SEO experts, account managers and online marketers to manage lead generation websites in online poker. He/she will have a strong understanding of online poker environments in one or a combination of the following countries: Italy, France, Spain and Germany – in terms of marketing opportunities and competitive, economic and political realities.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the market specialist for one or a combination of the following countries: Italy, France, Spain and Germany
  • Develop and manage content plan / forge local content partnerships
  • Ongoing market analysis and segmentation
  • Competitive intelligence and analysis of online poker
  • Work with marketing & business unit directors to develop & execute country specific marketing plans
  • P&L for one or a combination of sites
  • Work closely with site managers & SEO team to optimize traffic to sites
  • Work closely with conversion team to optimize conversion rates
  • Ensure content (in-language) is up-to-date and accurate
  • Act as business stakeholder for international projects
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum two (2) years’ working experience in the online poker industry and over three (3) years’ experience as a business development or marketing manager. He/she will be fluent in one or a combination of the following languages: Italian, French, Spanish or German and will have a solid understanding of these cultures and online markets. Special consideration will be given to those candidates that illustrate a passion for poker and for learning. He/she will also have a university degree or diploma and be highly motivated to succeed.

Rewards

DOM provides an excellent benefits package which takes effect immediately upon starting employment. The package includes life, health and dental insurance as well as a $120 monthly travel allowance and $800 annually for fitness-related fees.

Additionally, each employee is given three weeks paid vacation to start, increasing to four weeks after two years of full-time employment. There are flex-time opportunities as well.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and will be enhanced by performance-based incentives.
